Almond Tree Lounge - Dive Bar with Karaoke and American Cuisine in Roseville, CA

Popped in for lunch and was nicely surprised by The Almond Grill & Bars interior a hidden jewel of Roseville it's very comfortable and a good respite from the hot sunny day outside. Nice surrounds with cool arcade games, interesting memorabilia and a stylish smoker's room at the rear. The menu was just the right size, recommend the steak salad it was delicious all meals served to our table looked very appetizing. The service was fast, professional & friendly.

The Almond Tree Grill and Lounge has been an icon in the entertainment scene since 1978. The lounge features live music, dancing and karaoke four nights a week. It's a neighborhood dive bar and a favorite with the locals. There is a small stage for live music. If cigarette smoke bothers you, I'd sit as far away from the smoking area as possible. The smoking area is a covered outdoor area and the smoke travels inside the lounge every time someone opens the door, which is often. This is a good date spot for strong drinks and people watching. The bar is in a strip mall. There was plenty of parking because all of the other businesses were closed. You walk in and immediately see the bar, to the right is the sitting and the bar/karaoke area. There is a smoking area that is attached to the dining area that has two dart boards. It's a fun bar. Lots of regulars no matter when you go.

Their steak sandwich was delicious and decently priced, came with a nice sized salad which was also tasty. Meat was tender, with good bread. Fajitas are also good. Much better than most bar food. Friendly bartender and good drinks. Had a live band and a small dance floor, along with TouchTunes.

It was slow with what only seemed to be locals. I had a beer and left because, although no one made me feel uncomfortable, I felt out of place and unwelcome like an annoyance being there.

We went for the first time to karaoke. The bar was full but not overcrowded. The dj and all people performing were very friendly. Overall great atmosphere for a nice night out.

Tonight was my first time here. The vibe was great! Everyone was friendly and had great song picks for karaoke. I would say the crowd was mostly 40-70. We had the fried pickles, and they were perfectly cooked. I had an IPA on tap. The bartenders were friendly and came to our table to check on us when things got busy. I will definitely be back for more fun when I want a night out with some fun people.

Not really sure about the food because we didnt eat, so I gave it 5 stars to be fair. Ive been here during the week and on a weekend night. Love the atmosphere! And the service has always been great! 10/10 recommend going. They do karaoke but its not bad at all.
